Covid19 Risk Assessment

Covid19 Risks:

  1. Passengers boarding showing symptoms
  2. Passengers congregating on the wharf
  3. Sharing jackets
  4. Signing in on the ipad
  5. Holding the hand rails while boarding the vessel
  6. Seating on the vessel

Mitigating above risks:

  1. Passengers will complete a checklist regarding covid19 including confirming they do not show any symptoms. Our skipper will also assess whether passenger appears to show any symptoms. Passengers who admit to showing symptoms or who our skipper deems to have symptoms will not be permitted to board.
  2. Passengers will be instructed to line up along the southern handrail on Campbell’s Cove Pontoon and to maintain 1.5m spacing between their party and other parties.
  3. Passengers will be advised in advance to bring their own jackets if possible. Our jackets will still be available for people who get cold. Our jackets will not be used twice in the same day. At the start and end of each day jackets will be hung in the open air/sunshine and the interior of the sleeves and collar with be cleaned.
  4. Passengers will be required to use hand sanitizer immediately before using the iPad.
  5. Handrail will be cleaned before boarding commences. Passengers will be required to use hand sanitizer immediately before boarding the vessel.
  6. Our capacity has been reduced from 23 to 11. Handholds on the seats will be cleaned before the passengers board. Passengers are permitted to sit next to the participants with which they have booked. There will be at least one empty seat in all directions between each party.

Additional points:

  • It is noted that outdoor environments pose a significantly reduced risk to indoor environments.
  • Our skipper will use the CovidSafe app at all times
  • Hand sanitizer will be available for passengers to use at all times
  • Disposable gloves will be available for passengers if they would like
